AI and Energy

  • AI
  • Thinking

Let's think softly about it.

First, what's certainly coming in the future are robots. If AI has achieved sufficient thinking capabilities, then it naturally follows that the rest is just physics.

If robots could take care of food, clothing, and shelter, then humans wouldn't need to work.

However, operating hardware requires a significant amount of energy. Therefore, energy-saving technologies will become even more valuable than before.

Also, creating a system that generates energy in a distributed manner and then converges it will become important, I think. It's about using the energy generated from the daily activities of each individual. The concept might be somewhat similar to blockchain.

Charging is a Hassle

Today, we are surrounded by various devices.

The number of devices that need to be charged in our daily lives continues to grow.

  • Smartphones
  • Smartwatches
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • Gaming consoles
  • etc...

Charging has become somewhat routine, but it's still a hassle.

However, recently, wearable devices that don't require charging have emerged.

EVERING

A ring-type wearable device that doesn't need charging.

It allows for payments to be made just by waving your hand, without touching your wallet or smartphone.

MOTHER Bracelet

A bracelet-type wearable device that doesn't need charging.

It generates power by utilizing the temperature difference between the body's surface and the external air, running on it.

This device features a patented technology from Silicon Valley, using the Seebeck effect for "thermoelectric power generation," which enables charging-free operation through a hybrid generation of temperature differences and solar energy.

So, I think the energy sector will become more important than ever.

The semiconductor field, represented by NVIDIA, also plays a role in converting light and heat into electrical energy. This includes solar panels (converting light to electricity) and thermistors (converting temperature changes to electrical signals).

I want to keep an eye on that area too.

What's Next?

Sooner or later, the day will come when humanity is freed from labor.

Basic income, such as Worldcoin, is already being realized.

Probably, while the gap between the rich and the poor may widen, a world where everyone can attain a minimum standard of living is likely to emerge.

In such a case, the value of the entertainment industry might increase, as humanity will need something to do.
